TBEN is a UK-based organisation which seeks to challenge the lack of diversity in the economics field by raising the profile of Black economists and creating a space where aspiring and current professionals in the field can connect, debate and flourish together.
We would love for you to get behind our vision as we endeavour to implement solutions to overcome underrepresentation with what we perceive is a fundamental problem in the economics profession. You can find out more via our website: www.tben.co.uk

The Bank of England (BoE) is the UK's central bank. Their mission is to deliver monetary and financial stability for the people of the United Kingdom.
Economists within the Monetary Analysis (MA) directorate in the Bank provide the core analytical support that underpins the setting and communication of monetary policy by the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) to meet the inflation target.
Economists within the Financial Stability Strategy and Risk (FSSR) directorate play a vital role in delivering on one of the Bank’s key objectives – securing a stable financial system that is fit to serve the needs of the people of the United Kingdom.
