TBEN TURNS ONE!

This November, The Black Economists Network (TBEN) will be celebrating it’s one-year anniversary! Our first year has been one of many achievements and much growth, where through online campaigns, school visits and panel discussions we’ve been able to highlight the need for greater diversity in the field of economics.

Our exponential growth is evidenced by a membership of over 250 students and professionals, around 1,000 followers on LinkedIn and over 3,000 followers on Twitter. We also more than doubled our target in our first-ever fundraiser, raising over £3,000. With our increased presence and funding, we hope to be able to achieve much more in our second year!
