BHM 2022: ACTIONS NOT WORDS!

  • The Resolution Foundation 2 Queen Anne's Gate London, England, SW1H 9AA United Kingdom (map)

ABOUT THE EVENT

We are delighted to announce that The Black economists Network will be hosting our first in person Black history month event on the 20th of October and we would be really grateful if you could join us!

This event will be an opportunity to discuss with leaders from a range of areas (healthcare, finance, business, and economics) to discuss and reflect on various issues surrounding the living standards for Black people in the UK - based on the official BHM 2022 theme: TIME FOR CHANGE

This event will present the opportunity for speakers and the audience to discuss:

  • With political systems that currently diminish our voices, what will the ramifications of the rising living cost and recession ahead be for black communities?

  • What strategies can economists implement to influence the current events, rather than think of ways to get out of it with no long term fix?

It will also allow a chance for the audience to engage with other black professionals to understand the common challenges and solutions we face as a community.

Will you be joining us?
